The dining room is spacious and provides a relaxing setting for a delicious dinner. The menu provides a variety of choices and everyone seemed to enjoy their meal when we dined there.

Roots is that place you never are wrong for going to. The food and drinks are not only amazing, but insanely consistent every single time. The staff are inviting, knowledgeable, and simply on top of their game every single day. As someone who has travelled far and wide, Roots should be on everyone’s list of go-to’s. In terms of restaurants in the greater Rutland area, this should always be a first choice on anyone’s list.

Such a warm welcome as we arrived, a very knowledgeable team, excellent cocktails in the bar before dinner, a well-versed sommelier, & a DELICIOUS menu. As a party of five, We had the duck, scallops, mussels, soups and salads, all of which we enjoyed greatly. The STICKY TOFFEE pudding was one of the very best any of us had ever had…x The fire was roaring, the ambience invited us to linger. Thank you Team Jessica for a fabulous evening.

Just love it here ! Cozy classic Woodstock lunch restaurant. Definitely my favorite spot in Woodstock for a nice meal.
