Vallozzi's started over 50 years ago when Helen Vallozzi was selling homemade pastas out of her home. Helen opened a take out restaurant in Latrobe, PA a few years later where her popularity exploded. The Winter Salad has a perfect balancr of flavors and textures. Highly recommend. The Ricotta Cavelltrlli also had just the balance of lightness and heaviness, richness and savory vegetables. Husband had perfectly cooked strip steak.

We got one of the specials, the scallops. Server failed to mention the cost was $60, way higher than any other entree on the main menu. Not cool to subtly gauge you customers. Fried Burara outstanding as was Not Your Grandma's Strawberry Pretzel dessert. Crab cakes very good. Great ambience. Very noisy. Need something that absorbs sound.
