Elvis immediately acknowledged that we were vegetarians and had accommodations made for even the fixed Valentine’s Day menu. We truly appreciate it. And not to forget, but the food was incredible. I would go back and eat an entire bowl of the beet salataMore infoZaytinya - DCPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Penn Quarter•4.7
- TtimarjioSouth Carolina •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoThis was an amazing experience I really enjoyed the fact that from the moment you arrive they make it feel personal as if you and your guest as if you rented out the place.. every dish was explained in great culinary fashion and I love the way each server and host incorporated their knowledge of the dish being served. Hands down one of the premier experiences in the D.C area and a must for impressing any level of company you have. The value is very worth it but the experience is priceless..More infoThe DabneyPrice: Very Expensive• American• Shaw•4.7

My husband is gluten free and the menu had several GF options and they were clearly marked. - CCatherineVIPWashington, D.C. Area •31 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 24, 2025While others have raved about t at The General Store, I had not eaten there in a few years and under new management and chef. Well...it lived up to what I had been told. I had shrimp and grits and outside of New Orleans, they are the best I've ever had. Tender, sweet shrimp and the sauce over the excellent grits was unlike any I have ever tasted on this dish or any other. Unique and scrumptious. My companion had the rack of lamb and loved it. The waitress was friendly and funny and never seemed stressed even though she handled many tables. She did it with aplomb. I think the decor and ambience are better than in past years, but the chairs are not comfortable, probably because they are the kind you would you use in the office break room. Strange, because the wooden tables were most attractive. That said, I can't wait to go back.More infot at The General StorePrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• St Michaels / Tilghman Island•4.8
