Best Healthy Restaurants in Mott Haven

Usually a nice experience, but not today. The waitress was a little bit to much!

Great as always the mushroom potato ravioli was outstanding , the ousso bucco was terrific and the pasta with venison and mushrooms was very good and very rich and flavorful, a little bread was definitely helpful , the chocolate mousse was perfect and the apple crostini was done well with a very sweet top crust . We sent two 29 year old there for lunch, from Washington State....first time to NY! Needless to say BG's lived up to our hype and delivered the experience we were looking for..for them! They are now fully spoiled for fine cuisine and classy treatment! BG's just keeps doing it right. Thx! Cliff

I am a native New Yorker and had never been here, but I had walked by it a number of times. It was truly a pleasure. I was with my mother who is in a wheelchair and they could not have been more gracious or accommodating. It is so difficult to find a handicapped accessible restaurant--one that doesn't have stairs or other obstacles--so I was thrilled to find that they had a ramp and clear access. Not only that, the staff was so nice and so welcoming and did everything to ensure that we were comfortable. They did not at all seem put out that we needed assistance. We were there for brunch and the food was excellent. I had eggs benedict with smoked salmon and my mother had a special steak sandwich. Both delicious. The good service continued throughout the meal. It was such an incredible experience I was so grateful.

I have been coming to this restaurant for years now. And whilst obviously the staff change , the sense of the place never does. Wonderful food, excellent service and thank you for giving me my favourite table.
