- BBeckyNew York City •5 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoFrom the moment we walked in the hostess was amazing. She accommodated our early arrival and was super helpful in getting us seated at the bar, while we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. Our waitress in the bar, Erica, recommended happy hour drinks, and was super kind and welcoming! Our waiter, when our whole party arrived and was seated for dinner, Jacob, was also very kind and patient with our large group. We will certainly be back, as this is a staple restaurant whenever we’re in the San Diego area.More infoCoasterraPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Harbor Island•4.6
- KKarenVIPSan Diego •5 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoChristmas night, dining outdoors on the patio, cozy heater next to us, tender prime rib and hot mashed potatoes, a good wine, and just enough attention from our server, Maurice. What's not to love? Cohn family dining in beautiful San Diego! Happy New Year, everyone! (I did ask them to please turn down the volume on the...uh... lively Christmas music so we could visit, and they promptly obliged.)More infoThe Prado at Balboa ParkPrice: Moderate• Californian• Downtown•4.6

They let us stay past closing to finish our wine. Lovely experience all around. Thank you!More infoCUCINA urbanaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Banker's Hill•4.7
- DDavidSan Diego •15 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWe enjoyed a Christmas Eve feast at Solare. We got there early, and were directed to their lounge area until our table was ready. Enjoyed a perfect Prosecco and Chianti and chatted with a few folks sitting at the bar. This place always feels like family, the team at Solare is always helpful and engaging.. We took a table outside and had a fantastic meal. I especially liked the Lamb Porterhouse. So good. The seasoning was very unique. The Owner, Randy, even stopped by. He really seemed to care about how our meal was, and offered a few suggestions. Our server Francois, helped us get the perfect wine, and was extremely attentive, even though this was one of their busiest nights of the year. Thanks to all the folks at Solare for making this a great evening.More infoSolare Ristorante LoungePrice: Moderate• Italian• Point Loma•4.7
- EEthelynSan Diego •5 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoAttended the 5-course Christmas Eve dinner. It was worth every penny- from start to finish it was coursed beautifully, ingredients were fresh and cooked perfectly to temp, plating was festive and colourful; and all this with just the right timed check-ins from my bartender/server James. The couple next to me did the wine pairing and everything was explained nicely and paired well... along with some fun history & stories- I opted for the cocktails which were creative and utilized some lovely ingredients as well as being well balanced.More infoCallie RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Mediterranean• Downtown•4.8
