Best Healthy Restaurants in Joppa

I visit the restaurant quite often. It is always my “go to” place. It all starts with the manager, Kristen. She is always so welcoming. I know when I see her smile as I open the door, it will be another great night and meal. I see “regulars” at the restaurant all the time. Have gained so many friends over the years. Each experience is a new, memorable experience. I can’t thank Kristen, Bryan and all the staff enough for everything you have done for myself and my family. Recommend to all to visit this restaurant! Had an amazing experience at Azumi. Excellent service, food was delicious and came out extremely fast. Drinks were👎🏾. Ambiance was excellent. This was a great way to celebrate V day. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My husband and I visited for Valentine’s Day. They had an awesome build your own prix fixe menu and for a great price. I did the three course with a wine pairing - selecting a starter, salad, and entree for $71. All the wine pairings were delicious and truly complemented the dishes. The Caesar salad was on of the best I’ve had in a long time. My husband did the four course and had the flexibility to choose what those four courses were - selecting two starters, an entree and dessert for $59. He raved about the cream of crab soup and lobster mac. He also was impressed by all the ice cream options for his dessert. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. We also made a last minute reservation and they accommodated us very nicely.

Great things stay great - as do great restaurants. Last year we visited Bluestone on V-Day and guess what? We did again this year! Many comments I made last year in my Bluestone review remain equally valid: 1. Grace under pressure - Restaurants can display managerial weaknesses on Valentine's Day. Even good and great restaurants, which can get crushed by numbers of holiday celebrants. V-Day may be one of the busiest nights of the year for upscale restaurants. However, the best of the best shine through under the pressure. So was the case with Bluestone on V-Day 2025. Management acumen made the restaurant not seem overly crowded or too bustling but clearly every seat was filled. Bluestone manages its reservations and wait-list with aplomb. 2. Food was wonderful per its lofty standards - We expect greatness at Bluestone and it delivered. Again. The Crisfield Stew never disappoints. Big hunks of fresh seafood in a very tasty broth - like bouillabaisse crossed with Maryland Crab Soup...." I had the highly excellent crabcake-stuffed-flounder, served on a bed of very tasty seasoned rice - sort of a risotto. We devoured the super-hot, fresh rolls while enjoying a couple of perfect cocktails featuring blackberries. Our newish waitress Lauren was rock solid (Kelsey last year probably cannot be topped). All told we dropped $143 but Bluestone is worth every penny. . So what's stopping you? Go to Bluestone.

We really enjoyed our Valentine dinner here. Everything was superb! Our reservation was a little earlier than I personally like but...🤭when you make it 3 days before V-Day! It ended up being the perfect time. It was not crowded compared to when we finished. We got an appetizer - the fried calamari - it was not heavily coated and the calamari were tender! Warning - if you get this as an app, have more than two people sharing, it is huge! We got one of the specials for Valentine - two stuffed jumbo shrimp and lamb chops. Again, it was huge! We each brought one of the shrimp home for another meal! And I did leave one lamb chop to bring home. Our server, Josh, was great. They did not have the wine I wanted but he checked to see what others they had(we wanted a Malbec)! It was a wonderful evening and definitely on our places to return to!
