Carlos@b&v brings the finer side of dining and service to this unique little part of North London, on the Green in Winchmore Hill, a stone's throw from the mainline station of the same name and a short drive from Southgate on the end of the Piccadiily Line. Carlos himself is a restauranteur with flair, having built a reputation in the area over 30 years and so his experience with executing a dynamic and slick establishment brings much to be excited about. We were welcomed and looked after throughout lunchtime by the staff, even though they were rushed off their feet catering for several large company groups having their Christmas lunches. Despite the large numbers, the food was superb. We have been to Carlos B&V several times in the past when staying locally to look after our grandchildren - it is a treat for all the family.

Yet another wonderful evening spent at Marcus Kitchen & Bar. From the second we entered to the moment we left, the ambience and service was second to none and the aromas of the next dishes being cooked were just heavenly. This evening we tried the salmon gnocchi and it didn't disappoint, absolutely delicious as was the fish soup. Generous portions served with love and pride, just like Mamma would have made.
