At KELP we take our time to make sure the food that goes on your plate is a fresh and local as possible. We source our seafood to be specifically Scottish and sustainable. We pride ourselves on using local suppliers for all our food. The fish people supply our fresh seafood daily. Our bread comes from Soja bakehouse, a family owned bakery in Cumbernauld. This was my first time at Kelp. We had a reservation and were running a bit late so I phoned the restaurant and they helped us find a more suitable time. Once we arrived, the waiter was very attentive and cheery. We ordered from the market menu and it did not disappoint! I loved the evening and will definitely be back!

Staff were incredible with our son’s allergies, very attentive & knowledgeable. Noisy atmosphere but we enjoy that buzz. We will definitely return as dining with teenagers is a challenge and they couldn’t have been any more accommodating.
