The Optimist is always on our list when visiting Atlanta! Great food, great service and all around a wonderful experience each and every time

For appetizers, the tuna tartare, beef ravioli & beet salad were outstanding. I enjoyed the shaken beef & garlic noodles. My family had the duck & chicken, they loved it. Great ambience although a bit pricey. They validate parking.

It is a very intesting place with a history and conveniently located. Food was excellent. And service was friendly with a lot of south charm.

Our server was great, time timing to be seated, the timing for food and the actual meal was excellent. I had the blackened Salmon and my manager had the Swordfish. We both cleared our plates and I normally can't eat more than half of my meal. It was my first time dining there and the restaurant lived up to the reputation that I have heard of it over the years.

Food and service were very good! Just notice the place was a little bit untidy and the floor was dirty. It was a quiet night, value for the food and drinks is good and all the staff was super friendly !
