The One Elm was the second pub in the Peach Pubs’ stable. It has long been a stalwart in the Stratford social scene. Carluccios at Stratford Upon Avon is reliable and never disappoints. Excellent staff, consistently good food and very good with young children and families,( not always the case with UK restaurants sadly).

A wonderful country find in a tiny village. The restaurant is definitely one to savour local farm to table, foraging and local game delicacies and each course was delicious. Staff are friendly, informative and welcoming and on a cold snowy night provided hot water bottles for each table to ensure we were sufficiently warm.

Well everything was great until we had a load of loud customers come and sit next to us - we were having a date night and had not seen each other for several days. Can’t be helped …but sitting next to a Christmas party is never fun! ( but it pays the bills for the restaurant- everything else was as wonderful as ever!
