Best Fun Restaurants in Welland

Love Cluny - such a beautiful space and service is always amazing (I've coincidently been there 3x in 2025 -- family brunch, dinner with friend group, valentine's day with hubby -- all experiences were top notch. Although its a large open space it doesn't seem to get loud and still feels intimate and romantic, if that's what you're looking for. Thanks to the Cluny team.

The minute you enter Linny’s you know a lovely experience awaits! The ambience is gorgeous and service exceptional. From the menu, we chose the Friday Evening Special option as a way to taste many house favourites. So many delicious items!!! A tiny disappointment … our steak was chewy and more fat than protein. It was an expensive evening but one we all thoroughly enjoyed. A venue to put on the list for special occasions.

Fantastic hostess. Everyone so friendly, not just our server. Delicious food. My husband and I both had steak. I have a garlic and onion allergy so I was given a few other options instead of garlic mashed potatoes (which I used to love). My husband and I were celebrating our 25th anniversary so i was a bit surprized when we were not comped our dessert. Oh, well. It was worth paying for. We will be back.

From the service, to the exceptional 14 course menu, to the wine and of course getting a chance to hang out with an awesomely talented pair of winemakers, Kelly Mason and Brooke Husband, the night was spectacular. It was our first time at Rizzo's and well worth the wait. Every bite was filled with the most incredible flavors! The lasagna was mouthwatering, the chicken parm was the best I have ever tasted, I could go on but there are limited characters here :) but have to mention the brownie with chocolate chip ice cream - never tasted a brownie like it, mind blowing. Special shout out to Connor, Paolo and the service team, they were spot on. Special shout out to the Chef and kitchen staff, they knocked every dish out of the park! I will be back in the spring for bread and sauce at the store when it opens. Thanks Rizzo's, we had a blast!

Went for my birthday and the space has definitely got a renovation since my last visit in 2021. The food was equally as delicious, service had changed a bit (I do miss the old cutlery) but I understand with the demand and expansion since the WELL deserved Micheline recognition. The food was FABULOUS the octopus was a stand out texture perfectly cook the sala Verda had heat, zest, and herbaceous however, the star were the beans! DESSERT was my favourite course strawberries are my favourite fruits so confidently the gelato was right up my alley. I knew it was incredibly well done when my brother who notoriously dislikes strawberry “ice cream” of any sorts kept matching my spoon for spoon (will be back for the Torta). My only wish was to maybe talk about more with the Som and the employees. I know it’s hard to sometimes be able too in service and some guest just rather not be spoken to during their stay. I kept looking for an opening with everyone who touched our table didn’t work out. CJ was a wonderful server, paced our dishes and drinks, took care of my family wonderfully. Also loved that the table was communicated that it was “ours” until a specific time. It was a wonderfully birthday, thank you.
