General Public is inspired by trying to imagine what an upscale English pub would be if it had the heart of an American brasserie (and was open 11 to 11). It’s also going to signal a little bit of steakhouse, but not too much. And finally, it will look behind itself at the Black Hoof, which you will see reflected in James Santon’s menu here and there. In terms of vibe, the main floor is ‘everything’s gone green’, with lush comfortable banquette seating, warm wood, and barstools designed for long conversations over many cocktails. Newly opened Greek Famous seafood restaurant. Very best in town. Cooking are good and delicious. Great selection of seafoods from around the world. Uses best ingredients to cook. Only setback is that they do not allow wine corkages! That’s a big deterrent for wine lovers! We don’t mind paying a fee to bring our favorite wine to enjoy with a good meal! Need improvement

Jen Agg has done it again - this restaurant might be her best yet. Absolutely a delight to dine there. The decor is warm and in her signature style and the food — THE FOOD!! Amazingly delicious and unique in their own “English gastro pub” homage. We all ordered different things and everyone was pleased with their dishes. The cocktails - on point. Can’t wait to come back!
