From the antique heart pine walls to the locust beams on our deck, expect unique, local craftsmanship. The decor is rich with period antiques, hand-woven rugs, and local artwork. It features a creatively prepared and presented Contemporary American menu with a Southern twist in the farm to table tradition. Fresh produce locally grown is hand selected and prepared by our Chef de Cuisine, whose entrees respect the natural flavors of high quality, humanely raised and locally harvested food.     Fortify once again hit it out of the park. Of course the food, service and overall ambience were outstanding, as usual, but upon knowing it was our anniversary, we were met with a greeting card signed by staff, a special table and an outstanding desert. Thank you Fortify for another great evening. You guys are the standard against which others strive to be. Keep it up!

    Absolutely love this place. We had a large party and everyone had a great time. The service was fantastic. I had the Steakhouse Chopped salad and the steak was cooked to perfection. The homemade salad dressing is amazing. We shared several appetizers and especially enjoyed the boiled shrimp. Portions are large enough to share. The carrot cake dessert was my favorite, but the flourless chocolate torte is a close second. We sat in the bar with the piano player which added a nice element. He takes requests which my kids all loved. Overall, I would say the staff is friendly, the food is amazing and the ambiance is spot-on!

    Wonderful opportunity to take our family to this rustic and exceptional lodge. Small menu for Christmas Eve dinner but it was fantastic. The staff were attentive and very pleasant. The prime rib was incredible Thanks so much!
