Best Fun Restaurants in Gastonia

For Valentines, I wanted to do something outside of our usual routine. I had heard of Barristers and was like yep let’s drive to Gastonia! When we first walked into the hotel section, it seemed a little seedy(we saw some interesting folks walking into the hotel) but when walking into the actual restaurant the ambiance was incredible. Alyssa our server was extremely attentive to my multiple food allergies, and made great recommendations based on that, and I ordered items I might not have otherwise. The baked Brie was SO SO GOOD, and my boyfriend loved his swordfish. He is a little picky when it comes to restaurants and said he would actually want to drive all the way out there and come back. That is a really high vote from him! Would love to come back when it’s warmer and not raining, as it looked like they had a really pretty back deck area as well.

We went for Valentine's. It's not our first time. The food is wonderful! Everything tastes fantastic, and the presentation is outstanding. The service is a little slow, but the quality of the food is worth the wait. The lighting could be a little less bright, but it seems authentic Greek. We will be back.

I absolutely adore this place! Every visit seems to surpass the previous one, making each experience feel uniquely special. The service is nothing short of extraordinary—attentive, friendly, and prompt, it truly elevates the entire atmosphere and makes you feel right at home!
