Best Fun Restaurants in East Brunswick

I rarely leave a review but I really am amazed by the experience we had tonight. I saw this place on TikTok and it’s the first time I’ve gone to a restaurant strictly off a social media review. It was an hour and a half for us as we’re in PA but for a birthday celebration we made the drive. We were greeted at the front by multiple staff members and the chef/owner who wish me a happy birthday and sat us quickly. We ordered 4 apps; the steak tartar, clams, meatballs and shrimp which were all amazing. Our service was amazing and I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for 10 years. I’m not exaggerating when I say we were taken very well care of by the staff. For our main entree we got a filet mignon and the Mac n cheese to share. For 2 people this was perfect. We both decided to push it for dessert and get tiramisu and cheesecake. The portion sizes for everything were perfect. I feel for the price, experience and atmosphere everything was priced accordingly and I was not disappointed. They came out with a birthday plate as well and we wrapped up the evening. If there was one thing I had to point out was seating, just personal preference I don’t like sitting so close to others but with fine dining it’s understandable to get seating close to each other. Really 5/5. Like I said, the personal preference with seating was only thing and it’s really so small compared to the overall meal. I had a great birthday dinner and great service. Highly recommend. Only regret, not taking photos of all my food.

The restaurant and dining experience was just what we wanted. They f=greet you with smiles and as if you are 'regulars' although this was our 1st time. The ambience was relaxing, festive and wonderful. Our server was professional, friendly and had a fun personality whiling to kid around and made our dinner special. The manager stopped by and he was charming and cponerened making suire all was to our liking. Highly recommend.

This is a great restaurant for special occasions, business meals and before theatre meal( roughly a five minute walk from State Theatre). I would recommend 2 hours to fully enjoy the experience. We all had steak but there were other alternatives. Steak was excellent and cooked precisely. All in I would expect to spend a minimum of $100 per person before any alcohol order.

Love Salt so much. Been here many times (had a few birthday parties here as well), and it never disappoints. Last night we had the Kale-Romaine Caesar and the Salt Coastal salads to start. I used to get the Palm hearts salad which is also very good, but since I tried the Coastal salad with its capers and radishes and lovely, light vinaigrette, I’m hooked. We had the Blackened Tuna (a special for the night), for which my husband asked for a bit of kick to the spice, after our server told us it was very mild. Turned out perfectly seasoned and was a beautiful piece of tuna. Mine was the cast iron Chilean sea bass with tomatoes- also perfect. I finished with the special dessert- pineapple upside down cake with a scoop of caramel gelato. Heaven on a plate. Also, I cannot say enough about the amazing and pleasant staff, especially our waiter (wish I could recall his name!) and everyone one else who brought and cleared plates and filled glasses. We recommend Salt to everyone we know.
