Best Vegan Restaurants in Solana Beach

It’s important to know that it’s Oaxacan cuisine. It’s different from SoCal traditional Mexican food (which I also love). Everything was excellent and yummy! I had the Agua Santa cocktail- OMG! I ate the tacos de birria - you could choose lamb or beef- and I chose the beef. So flavorful on blue corn tortillas and the beef melted in my mouth! You have to get the table side guacamole made to your liking in front of you! My husband and friends got different moles - all outstanding! We all were getting full and couldn’t stop eating! Even the “smashed” black beans were amazing! Can’t wait to come back! Cool, artsy decor, the owner stops by to check on you - this place has it ALL!

Melody was our server. We were a table of 4 and there was also a table of at least 12. The entire team at Ki's made sure we got our drinks and food on time even with a big crowd on Christmas Eve.

Warmly greeted by the reception staff. Reservations had been confirmed the day before. Sat immediately in a Phenomenal viewing location. Our server named Becca, treated us well and set a perfect pace for appetizers, salads, and then the meal. She was constantly checking in on us willing to assist. Please try the Famed Hula Pie for dessert, it's Extraordinary !!!

We were greeted with a welcome and they remembered from my reservation that this was my wedding anniversary. We choose an indoor seat by the window. The waves looked nice as we could see them roll in. The food was very good. We had the Shrimp Dumplings which was good--sort of like a Chinese potsticker, but soft. I had the Lobster and Shrimp Chowder, excellent. My wife had the Mixed Organic Greens, very good. We shared both. For our main course I had the Seafood Pasta lobster, shrimp, scallop & mahi with smoked tomato sauce, Thai basil & parmesan. I liked it very much. My wife had the Pacific Paella grilled lobster tail, mahi, clams, scallops, shrimp & saffron Arborio rice, very good. The quantity of those dishes was more than what we expected--we could have just ordered one or the other and shared.

Amazing food, first of all. The service was good, the staff was very attentive to all patrons and it wasn't one individual person, the entire staff is there to help. The menu is a great assortment of various breakfast items with many of them being signature dishes. My table ordered the Chicken Marsala, the Reuben sandwich, Loaded Fries, Short Rib Hash and a single pancake. The Chicken Marsala was juicy and the marsala sauce and mushrooms were just so tasty and perfect and it was paired with some DELICIOUS potatoes and asparagus. If you are a Chicken Marsala fan, I would highly recommend this!! The Reuben sandwich was just delicious. The amount of Corned Beef in the sandwich was enormous and the servings size is HUGE, paired with some of the best crispy fries I've had, next to of course their LOADED Fries! The same crispy fries but now just with their white cheddar sauce and chunks of bacon, that was the HIT at our table!! Lastly was the Short Rib Hash, the potatoes again were amazing and the tender juicy chunks of Beef Short Rib were just everywhere in that bowl, and all topped off with a fried egg!! This place is great, the vibe is calming and not loud, perfect breakfast spot to just meet up, enjoy a meal and have a great conversation without having to battle all the other conversations that other restaurants deal with. This is just a great place!!
