Bodega is the street level Tavern, that offers no frills cocktails in addition to draft beer and shots. Osteria Amore came to life because we believe in the power of food to change your day, or in our case, change your life. Owner Eduardo Daja has been working in restaurants since he was a teenager growing up in Italy, and his time in culinary school only strengthened his passion for food. After culinary school, Ed stayed in Bologna to work at a family-owned restaurant. He moved to Utah eight years ago, and found himself missing his first love, food. For the past three years, Ed has been managing an Italian restaurant while also maintaining a career in tech and finally made the life-changing decision to open his own restaurant. That big decision was made possible for Ed when he met Marco Cuttaia, Osteria Amore’s executive chef and partner.     We visited for my son‘s 15th birthday, along with his kindergarten-age twin sisters. Emily was absolutely fantastic. She was patient in describing everything to the Littles, well making sure my son and I were also taken care of. Drinks were filled promptly and even customized based on preferences. Anything we asked for, they were went out of their way to accommodate. They even provided him with a birthday strawberry, complete with candle, so he could blow out his candle. Emily even sang with us. Since it was the girls’ first visit there, the manager stopped by and gave them a couple of chocolate dipped marshmallows to take home. Overall, it was a fantastic experience from a fantastic restaurant, and they definitely made a lifelong impression for the kids in addition to myself. Thank you!

    Great spot with great shared bites! Went with friends and shared fries, bread, gnocchi, Mac & cheese, and the sausage pizza and couldn’t be more happy with how delicious everything was! Definitely will be back!
