Best Vegan Restaurants in Rochester Hills

Best happy hour menu. Great hush puppies. Love the pomegranate martinis. Delicious cheeseburger and spicy shrimp. We got a shark fin pie to go which is usually to die for and too much for two people to eat at one sitting. It was good, but different and not as good as it usually is. Our waitress was super.

We were seated at a high top for 2 people that overlooked the kitchen. My wife and I are average sized humans and we felt the table was a little cramped for shared plates, but this was the only negative thing to say about our evening. The service was outstanding with napkins, plates, and cutlery replaced with each course. The restaurant was filled with conversation and some fun music, about what you would expect with shared plates being the main theme. The drinks were great, the view from our table was superb. We had a look in on the open fire grill and the stone oven while also being able to watch the bartenders put on a show making cocktails. Food was top notch and came out spaced perfectly. We had the beef tartare, Carrots, octopus, and duck. This was an excellent date night, anniversary meal (if you’re ok with loud) or a great double date, I think 4 people here fits the menu size for their shared plates pretty well.

It was a small very nice atmosphere! The staff we interacted with were nice and friendly! My husband and I were a bit disappointed in the food. We had the Brussels for an appetizer and they tasted and looked overcooked some dry burnt. The main entree was mediocre, for both of us. We are in no way food snobs. We eat everywhere… our anniversary we decided to try this restaurant because we drive by it regularly. Likely will not go again. Sorry Bar Verona.

It doesn't look like much but it is FABULOUS. My wife didn't like our first table. The hostess tried very hard to find another table, but they were so full she couldn't help. However, our darling server suggested we could move to the Pizza Bar which my wife loved (after I found her a high top chair that didn't wiggle (it was actually the uneven floor, but Quien sabe?!?1). After we got seated, she who must be obeyed, perked up. Our server was fabulous as was the Pizza chef who was a charming young man. The salads were fabulous especially the Caesar (Caesar himself would have been taken aback....minus Brutus that is, if you get my drift...) She had the salmon and Nis gadol hayad sham (on this day a miracle happened there}, she can't stop talking about it. I had the Gnocchi with marinara sauce and shrimp....Heavenly. If you want to have a fabulous dinner give the Verona a try

RH House never disappoints. It was a being Saturday night, but the food and service were excellent. The prime rib was cooked medium rare as requested. The chicken piccata was tender and flavorful. The clam chowder could have used more clam juice or seafood stock and less potatoes, but I cook my own and I'm picky. 😂 the Mile High Carrot Cake is always delicious. Thank you.
