Best Vegan Restaurants in NoMa

I’m always amazed at the consistency and high level experience at Zaytinya. We had the lunch tasting menu. Probably a total of 15 small plates. All were delicious and creative. Service and timing also impeccable.

Beautiful setting, stunning local art displayed, excellent food and service. Went with friends who all loved it. Easy walk from Angelika Theater. Definitely will return!

We loved our meal!!! Would definitely return. Guacamole so tasty and dessert heaven.

Yesterday evening we celebrated my daughter's 38th birthday at Elizabeth's- and now all of us are ready to go back tonight.The minute you walk in the door of Elizabeth's you feel as if you have been welcomed into a cosy and elegant historical home.  We were greeted warmly by Elizabeth and the staff, all of whom are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and culinarily multi-talented. And the dinner experience is similar to being served a new piece of artwork with each course. Would I ever be able to replicate the Klamath Return, a kombu-marinated chioggia beet, caraway crisp and celery root, or the Cleopatra's Ambrosia, with sea buckthorn, pink banana sorbet and kinome leaf,  or the Velvet Immortal with the saffron pickled enoki mushroom? Not in my wildest dreams.  My family normally inhales their food, but this time conversation was at a minimum as we took time to appreciate each new amazing taste sensation. Our party consisted of one vegan,  one vegetarian , and two omnivores,  and all of us agreed Elizabeth's is the best restaurant in DC.

I recently hosted my team’s weekly meeting over breakfast at Ted’s Bulletin, NOMA, and it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment we walked in, I was struck by the beautiful ambiance and chic décor—a perfect blend of modern sophistication and comfort that set the tone for a productive and enjoyable morning. The customer service was outstanding. The staff was incredibly attentive, ensuring every detail was handled seamlessly for our group. They were welcoming and quick to accommodate any requests, making us feel right at home. Of course, the food was another highlight! From their hearty breakfast options to their creative coffee selections, everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. My team couldn’t stop raving about their dishes. If you’re looking for a spot that combines style, service, and substance, Ted’s Bulletin in NOMA is the place to go. It was the perfect venue for our meeting, and I’ll definitely be back—whether for business or just a relaxing meal. Highly recommend!
