A Family Tradition For Over 90 YearsMrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant first opened in 1934 with Mrs. Knott and her children serving the first customers in their tea room. The restaurant has grown over the years into one of the largest in California, but the classic fried chicken dinner is still made the same way today using Mrs. Knott's recipes. Every complete chicken dinner includes handmade biscuits, side salad, choice of cabbage or cherry rhubarb, three pieces of fried chicken, and mashed potatoes smothered in gravy. For dessert: your choice of boysenberry pie or boysenberry sherbet. Many other dishes are also available including grilled chicken, salads, and a number of appetizers. A full-service bar, serving signature boysenberry-infused cocktails, is also available.Currently, we are following all government-issued regulations and seating is currently outside only.     Definitely did not expect the food to be as tasty and amazing as it was, loved the flavors and how they all mingled together. The chips and salsa are so addicting, the drinks as well. My only issue was the fact that we weren’t offered water, but the tables around us did. We had to ask our waiter to bring us water. Other than that, everything was great 10/10

    We traveled from San Antonio and Corpus Christi Texas so Mom could have Mrs. Knott's chicken dinner. This is what Mom asked for her 90th birthday dinner...how could we refuse? It was as delicious as she remembered from her last visit over 25 years ago. We are so full...we have leftover chicken and had to take our pie to-go. Mom enjoyed her rhubarb and we all enjoyed the chicken, rolls with boysenbery preserves, and the cabbage. Great meal! Pleasant staff and great service!

    Went there with a group of 12 people, ages 7 to 66. Every single person in the group LOVED their meal. The portions were huge, and the service was excellent. They were out of an item that my daughter ordered, and went above and beyond to make it up to her. We will definitely go back the next time we are in Anaheim. Highly recommend this restaurant!
