Wait staff seemed to be for the most part outstanding, however, the waiter that we had seemed to be overwhelmed and had to be reminded a number of times of what we had requested in terms of additional orders, but yet had time to joke around with the bar staff. Once he was reminded, the bar staff was seen diligently making our mocha. Additionally, we ordered appetizers/starters and a main dish for which all was brought out at the same time instead of the appetizers/starters first and then the main dish. I would recommend the restaurant no doubt about it in terms of the quality of the food, however, the waiter that we had was not very good. I normally tip 20% of the bill, which was EURO 77.00, but instead of giving a EURO 15.00 tip, he received a EURO 2.10 tip.

We highly recommend Brasserie Ignaz. We planned a one-day visit to Konstanz and read about Brasserie Ignaz online and decided to make reservations based on the menu. The food, atmosphere and service were great. The steak frites was outstanding and the wild broccoli was fresh and perfectly prepared. We were so happy we sat at the bar to dine because we were able to talk with Charlotte who made some great recommendations for food and cocktails made with gin from the brasserie's extensive list. Charlotte was very nice. When we return to the area, we will definitely return to Brasserie Ignaz.

Wonderful, typically German restaurant with great food and ambiance. Waitstaff perfect.
