We chose the feed me menu and it was just the right size and every dish was excellent. They also came out quickly and without large gaps between each dish that can make you feel full before you’re even halfway done. The service was friendly but not obtrusive and the cocktails were delicious!

Great atmosphere with gorgeous views. High tea was delicious! Second time here - what a treat.

We arrived half an hour early and the server, Layla, suggested that because our table was still occupied we could go to the cafe next door for a takeaway which we did and it was very pleasant. When we returned for our table, Layla welcomed us as if we were royalty, showed us to the table, and made sure we had everything we needed prior to ordering. Even though this is standard in most Beachside cafes, Layla's good mood, enthusiastic spirit, and genuinely welcoming demeanour were infectious. I had the omelette with over roasted tomatoes, which I had specifically asked for the kitchen to almost kill them under the grill, and everything was perfect. The food was to die for. I was initially a little bit concerned prior to trying it out,as I had heard other reviews state that it was overpriced for the food serving. I found this was not the case, and my omelette not only filled the entire plate. It was under $20. Would I eat at this cafe again, absolutely, and I want to give a shout out to Layla because she went about and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, treated us as if we were royalty, and added to an already wonderful experience real her infectious youthful exuberance.

The wok fried green beans, wood grilled squid and of course twice-cooked pork belly were all outstanding, and we look forward to exploring further.

Excellent feed me option. Really enjoyed that cream of corn dish. Service was at times slow but once underway was paced well with dishes arriving and was always very friendly and knowledgeable on the food and wine. Wine list extraordinary. Very impressive over all. Will definitely return.
