Best Sunday Lunch Restaurants in Haight

We come to Teakwood when we have tickets to the SF Symphony. Jorge has been our server the past two times. He is charming. He is kind. He is good at his job. But all the staff are helpful and efficient. Our go-to meal is the tea leaf salad, fiery tofu dish, and whole branzino. The drinks are well made and the room has a nice vibe. Check it out.

Dining today at Choquette's was just like being in a Paris cafe. OO LA LA! It's a chilly SF Day so we opted for the French Onion Soup - OMG deeelicous. Paid for bread and great butter and shared a lovely butter lettuce salad Ala French vinaigrette. All wonderful BUT they could have put a bit more dressing on the great fresh butter lettuce leaves and I could have requested more but didn't. All in all - we'll return soon.

Excellent restaurant. I get so bored with the average fish preps but their crispy trout was perfect and interesting. The Not really Carbonara very nice as well. And the owner offered some very interesting white wine choices when their house wines were not available.

We have always very much enjoyed dining at Ristobar, and last night was no exception. What a beautiful and welcoming place! The service could not have been more friendly and attentive, everybody enjoyed their drinks, and our salads and pastas were deliciously rich with nuanced flavors. We were also very appreciative of the many gluten free options available! This is very important for one of the folks in our party, and we're happy she could enjoy her meal without worry. Ristobar is a perfect choice for a pre-show meal before heading over to the Palace of Fine Arts. We very much look forward to our next visit. Thank you very much!
