Izakaya Den is Denver’s popular Japanese gastropub, modeled after the lively after hours establishments found throughout Japan. The restaurant is located on South Pearl Street and is the second restaurant of the Kizaki brothers, founders and owners of Sushi Den.     I made a reservation at 7:30 and our table was not ready until 8:00 p.m. they made us wait downstairs. This was on a Thursday night. The food was great the service was good the music was a bit loud but overall a good experience

    Our experience at Ash’kara both times i have been have been phenomenal. Both the drink and food menus are carefully crafted and very detailed. Every food item i have tried has been amazing and the staff took great care of us. Overall a great experience and one of my favorite restaurants in denver.

    We had the best experience! This restaurant is so much fun and a great atmosphere, delicious drinks, and unique tasty food. We had a large group for a birthday party and they were so accommodating. We got our drinks and apps quickly and all the food was amazing. The ambience has a tropical club vibe without it being loud tacky. Great place for a group to have a good time! Be aware, parking is VERY difficult to find!
