Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Santa Ana

Great food as usual. Service was patchy. Had to ask for utensils, no salt or pepper on the table. But it was very busy, so that might be the reason. Oysters were meeh, regular dishes great.

I flew in from Arcata for dinner reservations for Valentine with the Mrs. We are staying at the Westin next door. Easy walk to WG. The hostess was amazing, we were seated within 5 min of our rezo and near the Jazz musician. Our waiter was Brandon, amazing experience! We had spent Valentines 2024 WG at oyster bar. This evening rather than order off the menu we wanted to try the 4 course. I don’t have a lot of experience in fine dining and 4 courses with wine pairing. Brandon was very helpful with sharing how the menu would be served this evening. The Mrs she’s used to fine dining but for an island boy from Samoa it was a new experience for me. Amazing experience and for those who may have not experienced fine dining 4 course with wine pairing just ask the your wait person for help. I’m never afraid to ask if I do not know. The fork thing, the many utensils, the different glasses, etc 😂 Definitely will plan a dinner outing for the entire family, 12 total, this summer when I’m back in town. Great ambiance and even greater service. Food was delicious. The bread, appetizer, main course and dessert. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys pasta and wine.

Mastros is always a special place to celebrate our wedding anniversary ❤️ Dave and BJ were amazing, and our food, as always, was delicious. My husband ordered a double cut porkchop, and he said it was the best and most tender he's ever had. It was large enough for two. You can't beat the service you get there. Thank you for our special buttercake dessert and the 2 chocolate dipped strawberries 🍓 . We will be back.
