We shared a spinach/crab/artichoke dip with pita chips which was really good and I had the bacon wrapped filet mignon- it was medium cooked perfectly! Came with mushroom bread pudding - also delish! My wife had a rack of lamb with fingerling potatoes- she love it…also perfectly cooked “between rare & medium rare.” Our server was very nice and checked in with us enough but not too much. If your a history lover, the Black Bass has a lot of history, including a grand British china collection. Our waiter tonight was Andres and he was a gem. I want to give Andres a special shoutout for being so special and such a pleasure. The lobster cocktail was not quite what I expected. I thought the lobster would come in pieces with no shell but we ended up having to crack half a lobster to get the meat out (but it was still DELICIOUS). For dinner we both ordered the filet and lobster tail. Everything was cooked to perfection and super tender. We savored every bite. For dessert we had a NY cheesecake and the lava cake. Both were super yummy. The portions were perfectly sized. We left feeling satisfied and perfectly full yet not overstuffed.
