Butterjoint is a comfy bar and restaurant located in North Oakland. I have heard great things about Morcilla so my wife and I made reservations for our anniversary dinner. We were not disappointed in the food, drinks, atmosphere or service. All were top notch. It was a great experience and we'd go back again to try more items from the menu. Morcilla is a great option for a date night, or just having dinner with a few friends.

We had new years brunch here and it was my first time. They were short staffed so I was expecting long delays but the waitress was fantastic, and very knowledgeable, and there were no delays. We shared the pierogis and the salad to start and both were fantastic. Everything is made in house and from local ingredients. The burger, chicken sandwich and pork chop were also top notch. It’s clear they are passionate about quality. We will definitely be back!

I met a friend for dinner on a Thursday night and we had a great time catching up. The food is delicious, the service prompt, warm, and friendly, and the atmosphere cozy. Parking can be somewhat of a bear, but Lucca's is worth that relatively small inconvenience.
