Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Mahopac

Always a wonderful experience. Always impressed with the quality and creativity of the food! Great service!! One of our favorite restaurants in Dobbs Ferry!

We were greeted at the door and seated immediately. The ambiance was natural and magically perfect! The food arrived fairly quickly, fresh and tasty. The staff are all friendly and we didn’t feel pressured to leave. The cafe is situated within a beautiful store setting which works great in my opinion. I purchased nice faux candles in the store section before leaving. I can honestly say we had a wonderful time walking around and looking at all the items and plantings they had available before leaving. Would I recommend this restaurant? Absolutely!!!

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner the service and food were excellent. But the best was our seat looking out onto the water at all those beautiful lit Christmas trees.

Had lovely Christmas Eve dinner. Staff couldn’t have been nicer considering the overwhelming crowd that evening!

Has the lunch menu which is great value: mushroom veloute and branzino a la plancha. The dining room was full at lunchtime on a weekday which was surprising. Service was nevethless efficient and dishes were served promptly and cooked to perfection. Never a surprise at L"Escale.
