Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Inner City Northside

The luncheon buffet was very tasty. Enough choices to accommodate individual preferences.

We have used Mahogany to celebrate our major events in our 57 of marriage. Tonight we celebrated our 59th Valentine’s Day since we were first together. Tonight was a very busy night so all servers were much more busy than we had experienced in the past. The food was as excellent as usual, but we had much less interaction with servers than in the past. This interaction was a major attraction for us in the past. I still would recommend them highly.

Took my wife there for Valentine’s Day. They had a fixed 5-course menu but kept the servings small enough that you weren’t overwhelmed with food. The Bruschetta appetizer was excellent and quite garlicky (which I like). The Lobster Bisque was the best I’ve ever had and had a lot of lobster pieces floating around. The Fillet and Lobster tail were cooked exactly right and how can you go wrong with that combo. Can’t attest to their regular menu but if it’s at all as good as this meal, you should give them a try!!

Setting is a truly grand space - magnificent ceiling, marble columns, historic murals - within the old National Bank. Tellers nevertheless feels relaxed and special at the same time. Menu is mostly Italian cuisine, but also featured a delicious (and reasonably priced!) filet mignon. Short rib rigatoni was also very tasty! Service from our waiter, Ben, was professional and friendly! A great choice in OKC!!

Spent my wedding anniversary at the stock and bond. It was a memorable experience. Started with a couple of drinks from the bar. The service was excellent. We started with half of a seafood tower. Yes they will adjust this for two. We also tried the wagu steak and sea bass. Both were delicious. Whipped potatoes and creamed corn were the sides. A complementary strawberry cake completed the evening. I will return for more.
