Starting with focaccia and a dip. Could eat every sandwich I’ve had on this bread to elevate the sandwhich. We had tuna tar tar, Delicious, unique taste. Calamari with shoe string potatoes. Sauce for calamari was delicious. Followed by a very generous portion of rack of lamb. Best lamb ever, with vegetables and an italian barley. Any ingredient could stand alone and be nights meal. We also had branzino, again, best Ive ever had. It is our new favourite place. I highly recommend reservations as this is a super popular spot. The restaurant was busy, but it didn’t feel rushed or pushed. The staff took the time to be friendly, answer questions, talk about the food, and gave us the time that we needed to do our ordering. Super great staff super attentive! The selection is just enormous and there's everything you could imagine. The Roast Beef and Turkey from the Hot carving station was delicious, along with Yorkshire pudding and fabulous stuffing and cranberry sauce! We never miss this buffet if we are staying at home for Christmas. A big thank you to Karen, our waitress-she is phenomenal! So personal, so attentive and just a lovely person to talk to. Thank you Karen! I look forward to celebrating my birthday tomorrow night at Disco Night at the Old Mill once again with Jay Vasquez and Groove Marmalade! The winter ala carte menu looks great as well. Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow night and hello to Karen and all the wonderful dining room staff who work so hard.
