Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Dunbar-Southlands

We loved this restaurant! The service was impeccable, the ambiance perfect, and the food was good. While it was slightly on the expensive side, it was well within expectations and didn’t take away from the superb evening we had. Our young kids were mesmerised by the revolving night scenes and fascinated by the movement of the restaurant, which kept them entertained throughout the evening. We highly recommend this restaurant for a fun and memorable dining experience—whether you’re with family, friends, or on a romantic night out.

When we were lead to our table we were offered to check our coats. The atmosphere was lively and very busy. Our server was friendly and attentive. We started off sharing a Crab Cake, It was very tender and hot. I had the Filet Mignon with Béarnaise sauce and my wife had the Salmon Wellington with a Tarragon sauce(not Béarnaise). Both dinners were very good. I guess my only complaint would be the vegetables were under done, they were still crunchy. The desserts were incredible. Overall it was a very pleasurable experience. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Vancouver.

Our visit to Nightingale was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we walked in, the service and ambiance set the tone for an exceptional dining experience. The food was beyond incredible—each dish was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor. A special shoutout to our server, Colwyn, who truly made the evening special. He was not only attentive and caring but also incredibly thoughtful with his recommendations. His warm and welcoming demeanor made our first meal in Vancouver a highlight of our trip.
