Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Cranbury

WOW!! I am soooo happy I picked this place to celebrate my 32nd wedding anniversary. I've been here a few times and loved it, but today, I was blown away by the food and service. Short rib ravioli is a must as an app. Pistachio martini was superb and by far the best drink. We had the pleasure of having Marc ( with a C) as our server and would love to have him every time. He was friendly, informative, and spot on with his recommendations. He made our night. Best server ever. EVER!! It says something when you not only loved the dining experience but the server was the BEST EVER. Wife had the branzino, and she loved it. I had the halibut w jasmine rice and green beans. I literally wanted to thank everyone involved for this dish. Totally loved it and will have it again TOMORROW. it's that good. Thank you 618 for making our 32nd wedding anniversary a memorable one. It's a lovely place, food is great, owners are very friendly and welcoming. Only negative feedback I have is they charge a credit card processing fee if not paying cash. I worked at American Express for 20 years, so I'm sensitive to additional fees being assessed when venues benefit greatly from accepting credit cards to increase their business. But otherwise, everything is great here.

Incredible experience as always! We had the pleasure of meeting and being helped by Adam, who went above and beyond to make sure we were set for a great night. He really set the tone and was wonderful in answering any questions and ensuring we were happy as the night continued. We started with the oysters and caviar which blew us out of the water! I had the pork chop and he had a filet - both outstanding dishes and complimented by the mashed potato’s and sweet potato casserole! Every dish was incredible, the restaurant was set up beautifully as always and the atmosphere was fantastic. We live right around the corner and can’t wait to be back!!

Excellent. Assistant GM, Brandon, greeted us and periodically checked on our table. Our server, Ben, was attentive and charming. Beautifully warm atmosphere. Such a unique establishment. Cheese plate was tastefully arranged with honey, jam, nuts and several perfect cheeses. Pork belly and Caesar salad were lovely and generous apps while all our entrees were to perfection. We had a bit of a “tasting” assortment of deserts which were well worth the indulgence. Highly recommended for a tasting event, holiday, group or date.

Gianni, Zack, and the team continually impress us. This is a must if you want the full dining experience. Great job, as always!
