Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Theater District

Ostra gets all of the essentials right - creative cuisine, superb service, comfortable dining space and great location. We are always happy to secure a reservation at this very popular restaurant. We began with perfectly made cocktails (they also have an extensive wine list) followed by first courses of grilled octopus and mushroom risotto. The main courses were Faroe Island Salmon and grilled Bronzino - both amazing. For desert we shared panna cotta. Our waiter was professional, personable and knowledgable assisting with meal choices. The front of the house staff was also accommodating and welcoming. One of our favorite places for dinner for two or more.

Amazing experience! We had people that did not show for our reservation and the hostess was so accommodating! Our waiter Chris was above and beyond. He even sang happy birthday so beautifully to my daughter. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding . One of our friends had a food allergy and so many staff made every effort to make sure that he was safe. All I can say is Wow! 7 stars! Can’t wait to go back!!!!

Q is my favorite hot pot restaurant. Their ingredients are consistently high quality, the broth choices are delicious, and the drinks options are interesting. Service is always quick and helpful too.
