Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Anaheim

We had an awesome server by the name of Lann. She was very friendly and checked with us often, to see if we needed anything or if our food was to our liking. The other servers who delivered our food was also great and efficient (sorry I didn’t get the two gentlemen’s names). The food was great, we both ordered the petite filet mignon and the crème brûlée was the perfect end to our meal. A shout out to the staff at the front desk and the guys at the valet stand who all were efficient in their jobs as well as greeting us with a smile and friendly service. What an amazing experience from the time we arrived and were greeted by the Reception staff to Chef Bruno in the lobby greeting guests as they come in, this was by far the best experience we have had at any restaurant! We arrived early and were welcome to take photos of the beautiful restaurant and grab a drink at the upstairs bar. My husband had a California Cab and I had a berry Mojito, a special on the menu. The mojito was the best I have ever had! What a great start! We were seated at a quaint table for two and provided water and rolls immediately. We ordered the Volcano Roll for appetizers and it arrived very shortly after. The roll was 6 pieces and I wish there were more because it was so delicious! We ordered our entrees next, I ordered the Blackened Ahi and my husband had the Petite Filet. Both arrived quickly and were presented well. The Blackened Ahi was absolutely fantastic and my husband’s filet was melt-in-your-mouth good! We had the privilege of speaking with Chef Bruno one more time. Brian was so delightful to talk to and engaged in conversation with us. We never felt rushed, and after we ordered the soufflé (definitely order this early in your meal), we were told it would take 20 mins to make. It seemed like it was just minutes and it was at our table. This was the absolute best dessert we have ever had! Our meal was amazing, the staff was amazing, and the restaurant was decorated in the holiday spirit. Such an awesome experience! I’m so glad we came and would come back again in a heartbeat!

Wait staff was great food took a little longer then we would like but they were very busy . Food was excellent.. beautiful restaurant. They went above and beyond by printing a special menu on paper that said happy 12 year anniversary on the top for our wedding anniversary. They rolled it up and put a ribbon on it for us to take home . They also gave us a cheese cake on the house for our celebration. We will definitely be back .

The food and service at Roy’s was unparalleled, as usual. Highly recommend. Try the filet mignon and the shellfish platter. For cocktails, the pineapple coconut martini, and for dessert, the pineapple upside down cake with coconut ice cream. Delicious!

I went this year to the Thanksgiving Buffet and last year. This time around they weren’t out of anything and everything tasted great. The table bread was great, the entrees and raw bar were great. And as always the desserts were wonderful. The banana foster dessert was stupendous. The only thing I was critical about was that we were on the patio outside and it was a pleasant 76 degrees but the heater was on and I was feeling it. And the front hosting area was full of 4,5,sometimes 6 workers crowding around the check in. Would maybe be better if they had that part better organized and less folks standing around, because that’s always a bad look. I will of course come here again for other events because the value is quite good, the servers are very pleasant, and the quality and selection of food is top notch.
