Known as "Noz" to his friends, Abe-san is part of a movement from Japan advancing Edomae-style sushi, incorporating aging and preparation techniques that date back to Japan's Edo period. It's a season of party and gratitude. I had my birthday party here in August. This was the third time that I dined at boat house. The spicy jumbo lump crab & avocado cocktail was so fresh. The faroe island salmon and Bronzino accompanied by Sancerre were fantastic. We were so lucky to sit by the window and have enjoyed a snow lake view with plenty of sunshine. The restaurant was filled with a warmth of family and holiday mood.

I don’t recall his name but our server was outstanding! Pleasant, fun, and helpful. The family talked about what a great vibe he brought to dinner! We go as a family every time we go to NYC (our third trip) and food is always delicious, with PLENTY to go around. Also appreciated the water pitcher on the table. As a large family (table of 9), it’s so much easier to keep the water glasses full ourselves. Thanks again!!
