Casual waterfront dining right on the docks of the Patchogue River, The Oar serves up fresh and delicious steaks and seafood. Chefs prepare specialties like coconut shrimp, 36 oz sizzling prime porterhouse, lobster quesadillas and fresh Bluepoint oysters and little clams which are delivered daily. Two dining rooms are decorated in traditional nautical style. The front wall in made up of French doors that open onto the water, providing dockside open air seating in warm months and picturesque views of the marina year-round. The rear dining room is elegant with raise panel mahogany, white table clothes and blue and white nautical stripe wall paper. We had another great experience at Tellers! Our server, Stephanie, was friendly, attentive, and helped us make some excellent choices. Chef Cory, made us some excellent appetizers and steaks. I highly recommend Tellers will be coming back again soon.

The waitress we had was outstanding!! I wish I could remember her name. She had platinum blonde hair. She was awesome! There was an issue with my bill and she took care of it. I’m so grateful for her and the rest of the staff For checking in on me and my sister to see how we were doing. And wishing us a happy Thanksgiving. Also, the valet group was awesome as well.

I was looking for a nice place to take my sister and her husband. This place did not disappoint. The ambience was beautiful. The waiter was amazing. Since we were new to ITA kitchen, he explained everything on the menu with ease and answered all of our questions. The food was delicious. I will be returning to this place for dinner well worth my money and time.
