This was the first time, however, we visited with an 8 month old. Friends of ours were in town from California, and we really wanted to show them an example of a dinner that makes us appreciate Philadelphia so much. The staff was incredibly patient and accommodating with our young pasta lover. The noise level and other diners that evening made our experience feel simply like you were eating in a friend's living room. We're grateful for Fiorella's in many ways, and always suggest this restaurant for smaller, more intimate gatherings for friends and family.More infoFiorella PhiladelphiaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Bella Vista•4.9

My daughter got the grilled cheese and she liked it . She considers herself a bit of a grilled cheese connoisseur. We came two Wednesdays before Christmas and the place was jam-packed but it was a great atmosphere and the decorations are splendid. It seemed like everyone who stepped through the door was immediately in a joyous mood. I guess it’s the ambience of the place.More infoCraftsman Row SaloonPrice: Moderate• American• Old City•4.5
- SSophiePhiladelphia County •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoThis was a wonderful first fine dining experience. I was struck speechless by some dishes. The espresso before dinner was not complimentary, the hollandaise was slightly cold over my tortellini and the potato gratin’s cheese split which was unfortunate but overall it was truly a magical experience and the were highlights (the nonalcoholic spritz, the magical lighting, the dessert, and the aji with apple and peanuts) that struck me speechless and made up for it. Magical. Wonderful. So happy I did it.More infoVetri Cucina - PhiladelphiaPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Center City•4.9
- SSarahPhiladelphia County •153 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 25, 2024Very much enjoyed our Monday-evening dinner with friends. On a Monday evening, it was quieter toward the front, but the back room was energetic. The decorations were festive, perhaps for the holidays, perhaps year-round--we'll have to return to find out! Service was terrific and the food delicious. We shared: - Guacamole de la casa (3 guacamoles: mango, spicy, and regular), each of which were tasty and everyone had a different favorite! - Chips con 3 salsas (red, green, and borracha), each of which were tasty and I couldn't pick a favorite! Two diners had the Quesabirrias tacos and one the Lengua tacos--everyone was pleased with their order. I tried the Carne Asada from the grill and while the sweet plantains were prepared in a drier/crispier style than I prefer, the meat was perfectly seasoned. We shared an order of churros and tres leches cake--the latter was drier than expected, but the 3 churro-lovers thought they were terrific (crispy on the outside, softer on the inside).More infoTamalex Bar & GrillPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Society Hill•4.8
