- AAnthonyVIPHouston •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWe visit many restaurants around the country and Annabelle has suddenly made it to my hometown favorites list. We tried the deviled eggs, raclette au jambon, Parisienne steak frites, duck confit cassoulet, macaroni gratin, and potato aligoté, finished with crème brûlée and espresso. All of which met our standards and we will be returning. Happy and full the spot brings warmth, feeling like I’m in my grandmothers living room (in a good - homey way). Drinks also were good but don’t remember what was ordered. If you are coming here, order a lot very freely; the pricing is very reasonable anyway.More infoAnnabelle BrasseriePrice: Expensive• French• Montrose•4.6
- IIvonneVIPHouston •23 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoFor our first time at Októ, we had a great time. Our server, Eelon, was jovial and knowledgeable about the menu and the components of our meal. Every dish had several components that added its unique flavors. It was a great choice for our Christmas Eve dinner.More infoOktóPrice: Very Expensive• Mediterranean• Montrose•4.6
- GGeorgeHouston •4 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoWe were a party of 5. We got a nice quiet table in the sun room. Service was attentive. Steaks and red snapper were well prepared and had good taste and texture. I could have done with more sauce vierge on the snapper. The sides were okay but not great. Asparagus (and Bearnaise sauce) lacked much flavor, the pomegranate molasses dressing on the brussels sprouts was a little powerful, the gnocchi came off as pan-fried mashed potatoes. The onion soup was a disappointment - rather sweet, not much flavor to the broth, mushy. Other members of our party were less critical than I was and quite enjoyed their meals. Except the eldest, who usually complains about all the food. :-) All in all, I feel like I should have sneaked in some seasoned salt to perk things up.More infoTonight & Tomorrow at La Colombe d’OrPrice: Expensive• French• Montrose•4.5

- LlaurieVIPHouston •51 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThe food is the best sushi in America. I go to restaurants in NY, LA, Vegas, Miami. This is the best sushi in the country. The dishes are creative and prepared like you would find at a Michelin-star restaurant. I have gone here for Christmas, New Years Eve, Anniversary, Birthday over the years. Always a great. Not inexpensive, but worth every dollar for the quality. Drinks are creative. If you are z champagne drinker they even have my favorite, Ruinart. The only opportunity was we brought a baby and a little tough for seating choices. But we were fine and the baby didn't make a peep. Eat, enjoy, celebrate.More infoUchi HoustonPrice: Very Expensive• Sushi• Montrose•4.9
