- WWillvipChicago / Illinois •22 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoBeautiful light coming in the large windows that face south. Was not too busy for Saturday brunch (maybe because it was Thanksgiving weekend), and the service was excellent. We both had the breakfast sandwich and added bacon and avocado. It was really delicious. Mine came with a kale salad that was surprisingly good and my daughter had the fruit which was very fresh. Also had the monkey bread which was a small portion - perfect since we were already stuffed.More infoEdenPrice: Expensive• American• Avondale•4.8
- MmattChicago / Illinois •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe ambience at L Woods is old-school relaxed, fun and down-home. Service was very good. It was our 38th wedding anniversary and the waiter surprised us with a delicious dessert. Delicious cocktails, salads, steak and seafood. Exactly what we were looking for at a reasonable price.More infoL. Woods Tap and Pine LodgePrice: Moderate• American• Lincolnwood•4.7
- EEricChicago / Illinois •8 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe menu varied from what was posted online, but the choices were similar. The Goat Cheese tart appetizer was outstanding. We had the short ribs and the chef's special (whitefish). Both were excellent, as was the dessert (the Napoleon) we shared. Portions were just right. Service was excellent. I wish I could remember our server's name and compliment her directly. we will definitely return.More infoThe Alcove- EvanstonPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Evanston•4.7
