Best Seasonal Restaurants in Independence

Never been to Heck’s despite living in Mayfield/Beachwood my whole life. Stumbled in here on accident after stopping for a glass of wine at Antica. We intended to just stop for cocktails & small bites, but the menu looked so interesting we stayed for dinner and it is now our new favorite spot. I was wary of the strawberry balsamic martini, but wanted to take a risk and try something new. It did not disappoint! A great balance of sweet & savory. My date had the mai tai and loved it. We enjoyed the eggplant dip and the salt & pepper fries, and were so impressed we decided to order dinner. We got a wonderful Brussels Caesar salad that was the perfect size to split, and the short rib with asparagus was to die for. It fell off the bone, was juicy and tender. It was the first time we went out to dinner around here and were genuinely impressed. Their desert menu looked amazing, but we were just too full. The quality of the food versus the price is insane as well. The portion sizes are wonderful, all nice to share, and compared to other places in the area, the food is worth every penny. On top of that, the service and ambiance was awesome. We will definitely be returning to try the rest of the menu! Such a happy accident.

Holly was a professional who provided very good service to the table. We had a lovely table with a great view of the city and the multicolored lit trees outside. The ambience was awesome-- modern and immaculate with a sense of spaciousness. Even more important, the menu was pretty well marked for gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options (although there are some misleading GF labels that should be labeled as GFO). Our entrees were truly delicious -- even our fussy grandsons were impressed. It was a memorable GF birthday experience for my husband.

We had an amazing dining experience at Edwins for a family holiday outing. My family travels a lot, and my husband seeks out highly rated restaurants. My oldest daughter especially enjoys French cuisine. We had a perfect dinner! Every dish was exquisite—from soup and salad, through five different main plates among us, to banana foster created table side. Wine and cocktails were delicious, service was excellent, and the setting was warm and comfortable. We highly recommend!

We had the most fabulous brunch on Saturday for my son’s 21st birthday. The food, service, drinks were outstanding! Manage off the brunch menu. The rockstar mimosas were a hit with my 94 year old grandma and the complimentary wine tasters were a great way to explore what they had offer. Every time I eat at coopers Hawk I have never been disappointed! I recommend the the winter white during this colder season. I had the salmon and capers so delicious and the shrimp wrapped in bacon over guacamole was a crowd pleaser! The French toast was more like a dessert if you want a sugar rush lol! All the meals were thoroughly enjoyed and the service was absolutely outstanding!! Must get a reservation !
