- VValerieDenver / Colorado •5 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe tried Livestock Tavern for the first time tonight, having initially avoided it due to concerns about the safety of the surrounding neighborhood. We were really glad we that we finally went, and totally regret not trying this exceptional restaurant earlier!! The food, drinks, and service were outstanding (even the foodies in our group raved), and we thoroughly enjoyed all the yummy appetizers and the wonderful entrees. The Brussels and Pumpkin app was entirely and enthusiastically eaten, and as far as entrees go, the prime rib, mushroom risotto, crab ravioli, and the steaks all exceeded expectations. (side note the neighborhood is greatly improved compared to a few years ago). We definitely will be back!!!More infoLivestock TavernPrice: Expensive• American• Honolulu•4.7
- JJasonVIPSacramento / Sacramento Valley •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoPartook in the Prix Fix Chef's Menu at Senia and we were amazed. We have been to Senia numerous times before for the a la carte menu, but the Chef's counter really took the meal to the next level. Topped off with the most beautiful Beef Wellington I've have ever seen, the meal was comforting, yet full of whimsy.More infoSeniaPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Honolulu•4.9
- CColleenHawaii •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoReservation requesting bar seating was ready upon arrival, with menus, silverware & napkins awaiting our arrival. Staff was young, friendly and attentive, providing recommendations for libations and food favorites. We decided upon several appetizers, and found the crispy duck tacos a favorite! Also enjoyed the shrimp gyoza, with a puree of edamame and avocado. Many diners recommended their ramen bowl entries. They stock a well-rounded number of drinks, from beer and sake, to beautifully crafted non-alcoholic and alcoholic "Lucky" libations. All and all, a very pleasant evening. We will be back for more!More infoLucky BellyPrice: Moderate• Asian• Honolulu•4.7
- EelizabethVIPHawaii •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoPleasantly surprised on how great the food, service and atmosphere was. From the moment we walked in, everyone was very inviting. We had reservations at 5:30 pm and were seated promptly in the left back corner. Our server was very knowledgeable and helpful with the menu. We started off with some cocktails. If you like Calpico, like my boyfriend then the Sun Chong Spritz cocktail is for you!! Slight sweetness and a very refreshing taste. If you like a little sweeter cocktail with a fruity flavor, then the Chromakey dreamcoat is the cocktail for you. Then, we began our appetizer portion and that's we were blown away by the flavors!!! We had the Nairagi Crudo, Scallop Carpaccio, Prosciutto San Daniele. As each appetizer came out we were so surprised with the flavors and couldn't wait for the next dish to come out. Everything was nice and light and wasn't overpowered by the other flavors in each dish. Next came our entrees, we had the Capellini Granchio, Char Siu pork and an order of the Hokkaido bread which we used to mop up all the saucy goodness from both dishes. We really enjoyed the pasta dish, and had commented on the type of pasta that was used. We both agreed if a different pasta was used it would make the dish really heavy, but the use of angel hair pasta was perfect!!! The showstopper for us was the Char Siu pork. It was perfectly cooked and was accompanied by red wine plums. Make sure if you have this dish, eat each piece of pork with a slice of plum then take a piece of soft Hokkaido bread to mop up the sauce. Lastly, we finished our feast with the Five-spice carrot cake which was pretty tasty. But we enjoyed the ginger gelato more than the cake itself. It had a very light taste, that helped to cleanse the palate. We really enjoyed Glovedi and will definitely be back to try the other dishes!!!More infoGiovediPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Honolulu•4.8
- DDerrickHawaii •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe Podmore is a gem of a place! It is a gorgeous space with staff that are kind and thoughtful. That attentiveness is part of the menu too: it is simply one of the best places in Honolulu for a creative and tasty cocktail; the food too is wonderful. I go every few months with a friend or when friends are in town and each time, we have a delightful experience. Top-notch!More infoPodmorePrice: Expensive• Comfort Food• Honolulu•4.8
