They were so polite in taking the orders of a large group and were very patient with our two children. The holiday had a pre-fixe meal and we all got to try new takes on classic Thanksgiving foods. It was delicious. The quality of food and the portion size for the price was great. Thank you all!More infoEssexPrice: Expensive• Fusion / Eclectic• Lower East Side•4.6

The beautiful romantic atmosphere, amazing views, warm yet attentive service and truly exquisite food make for a perfect experience. It is a special occasion place, not for everyday, but we have celebrated our anniversary there several times (when in the city - we do not live in NYC), and this time it was our 50th. They did not disappoint! I hope I get to go back for many more special occasions. We took our adult son with us and he loved it as well.More infoThe River CafePrice: Very Expensive• American• DUMBO•4.8
- MMichaelvipNew York City •13 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoYopparai is one of my two favorite Japanese restaurants in New York and I’ve been going there about 15 years. Yopparai (which means “a drunk” in Japanese because of its great sake list) is simple, excellent Japanese home cooking. The counter seats are for 2 people and that’s the best way to eat there if it’s just 2. The staff is outstanding and quality is excellent. They always have specials so it never gets old. My favorites are the sashimi sampler where the only use the best fish and great variety, karaage (fried chicken), kanuni (pork belly in dashi broth), tsukune (a chicken meatball patty topped with a raw egg yolk you mix together) and grilled squid! Love this place. Always feel like home!More infoYopparaiPrice: Very Expensive• Izakaya• Lower East Side•4.6
- MMelissavipNew York City •8 reviews4.0Dined on Nov 23, 2024Food was great. Almost everything on the menu was gluten free which was amazing. The place is very nice inside, but we were sat in a dark area which was a little hard to see. Also a little hard to hear each other talk from the noise of other people seating close to us. Service was decent.More infoCasa OraPrice: Expensive• Venezuelan• Williamsburg•4.6
