Best Seasonal Restaurants in Gainesville

We had a quiet booth in the front of the restaurant across from the beautiful mahogany English style bar. This location was perfect for a private dining experience. The service was exceptional. We were given time to enjoy our meal and not feel rushed which is rare when compared with most restaurants in Gainesville. We ordered a ribeye steak with brandy pepper sauce. Cooked exactly as we requested and served on a warm plate. The jalapeño stuffed appetizer was exceptional. We look forward to going back.

This is our third Valentine’s Day meal at Mildred’s and each time we ask ourselves why we don’t eat here more often! The fixed price meal was amazing, with great options for salads/soups, entrees and especially desserts. We enjoyed the wedge salad and the carrot salad, as well as the lamb and swordfish entrees. Each was unique and perfectly prepared. The cakes and cheesecakes are to die for! Oh and we truly loved the cocktails too!

An excellent venue for an uninterrupted business dinner complemented by good food and discrete service.

Another very nice dining experience at PF Chang’s, Gainesville, FL. Lettucecwraos are always a hit. And we enjoyed our entrees of chicken w broccoli and sweet honey shrimp. Both served w brown rice.

The food and service were excellent!! We sat outside, it was a lovely day with the low sound of the piano playing in the background. I ordered the Fish and Grits with an order of Pancakes that came with the bacon or sausage. I requested Turkey Bacon which they did not have. I wish they would have adjusted my bill, for I assume they didn’t have the Turkey Bacon because it never came out and the waitress didn’t mention it. I had to quickly leave, so I didn’t mention it. I highly recommend dining there. FYI, my bill was $35 for Red Fish and Cheesy Grits with 2 Pancakes on the side; no drink. The restaurant next door has an excellent Brunch Buffet for the same cost. I would eat there again because the food was really good and we enjoyed the piano playing and eating outside. I am very happy that there are options for brunch!! Try both!
