Our menu is a mixture of familiar Pittsburgh foods (think pierogies, hamburgers, French fries) and French bistro classics (beef tartare, raclette, mussels), and seasonal classics that come and go throughout the year. We put care into our vegetarian dishes too, including making our own tempeh, falafel, and veggie patties from scratch. Menu items change frequently--usually every day--and reflect many long-standing relationships we have with farms and breweries in our region. In addition to reservations, we also have a thirty seat bar that is first come, first serve. We don’t know exactly how old the bar is, but it’s at least seventy years old (probably older) and very cozy. Our friendly bartenders are here to make something you like.

Overall, our visit for a Christmas brunch with family was a success. Food was great, but it took quite a while for food to come out of the kitchen. Rumor was, there were only two cooks in the kitchen. The waitress did a good job of delivering our food asbsoon as it was ready. Everything was extremely hot when it came out. The prime rib was good, but it was pre-sliced and sitting out for a while. No hand-carving? Overall, B grade.

We really enjoyed our cocktails before (Old Fashioned and Manhattan). Brussels sprouts were fantastic. We ordered 3 half portions of different pastas - Bucatini, Lumache, and Pappadelle - all were excellent. We ordered dessert, the chocolate torte, but after the order was put in, our server came back and said they were out of it. We did not order anything in its place. Very nice experience, this was our second time to this location and we will go again.

Great food and good service. Well taken care of and out in an hour on a Saturday night. Cocktails were very well made and Vegan options were offered for my wife. Will be back!

Soba lounge is excellent. We had two apps, three different entrees and 2 desserts and each was packed with flavor and beautifully plated. I recommend the rare tuna entree, the mushrooms on the appetizers - and the chocolate maki.
