Best Seasonal Restaurants in Robertsbridge

We had dinner at The George Grill as part of an overnight stay and found it to be excellent. The food was delicious and well presented, and the staff were professional and welcoming. A big thank you to our waiter (who was from the Canary Islands) and was friendly, very attentive and provided an excellent service. We had the Romney Marsh lamb for starters which tasted amazing, followed by the Hake and clams with coconut verde sauce, equally delicious. Dessert and cheeses were fab. The following morning we thoroughly enjoyed the continental and cooked breakfast. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly and the smoked salmon was high quality. This is our second visit here and although the menu may be limited for some, it is of high standard.

We had another excellent meal at the West House. The services is great, very laid back but efficient too. As it it a set menu I often end up with something I wouldn't normally order but I trust Graham's cooking and it is always delicious.

We dined on a very quiet Wednesday evening in this delightfully renovated inn. I'm sure it would be heaving during the day especially at weekends as there were lots of areas outside overlooking the views. Our server was great and we were all pleased with our food having struggled to decide which of the appetizing choices to go for. We hope to go back for a return visit soon.
