Best Seasonal Restaurants in Newton-in-Cartmel

We got 2 starters and 2 mains with a portion of onion rings. Although menu might be viewed as a bit restrictive what we ate was extremely tasty and enjoyable. Will definitely return. For information they add 10% on as service charge, it is stated at bottom of menu but it may be missed by some. We were happy to pay it as service was quick and unobtrusive.

Great place to eat food was lovely served hot and in good time , staff were friendly and the view alone makes it worth a visit . I will definatly be back for another visit. Only thing I would.say against is ive visited twice now and the beef hasn't been great but think this is to do with how it's been sliced after cooking making it to thin and chewy but everything else was spot on and the pork was fantastic

Relatively limited menu for long stays but excellent service ( generally). Food is good although I had a steak which was rather chewy.

We had excellent food, sea bream and chicken, friendly and very service oriented staff. Unfortunately we got a Chinese couple next to us whose smacking, slurping and spitting of their starter was so loud and disgusting that we decided to leave earlier than planned … hope a better experience next time.
