Best Romantic Restaurants in Yorkdale

We went for a late lunch on New Year's Day. We picked Stock primarily because we love the decor and staff. It was a lively afternoon in the restaurant with one quite loud diner near us, but we could converse comfortably. Our waitress was lovely and gave me good direction on menu choices. Other staff who attended our table were equally gracious. We had noted before that staff at Stock strike a pleasing balance of being warmly engaging yet professional. The food was good and service was well timed from start to finish. It was an enjoyable outing to kick off the first day of the new year.

Michael was great, very knowledgeable, pink sauce rose linguine Pasta with lobster was supreme, my son loved the rib eye steak, mushroom risotto was excellent. Do not leave without tasting the mint lime pinnacle cotta and grape sorbet, very delicious. I just wished the focaccia bread would be fresher and affogato be available next time. We are certainly coming back. Thank you Michael

Service from greeting to payment was attentive and exemplary. The food recommendations were spot on and everything we ate was outstanding. We also loved the ambiance and are planning to return with friends early in the new year.

The atmosphere was wonderful, like a winter wonderland with cozy igloos, blankets, cushions, and outside there were trees, firewood, and a cozy fire. It felt like I was far away from being in the middle of Toronto! The food was delicious, flavorful and creative. The service was just lovely, attentive and just right! The igloo had 2 heaters in it so the temperature was comfortable. It was a memorable experience. I will certainly go again!

It was my first time at this restaurant on a little solo date, and I must say the ambience was really nice. My waiter was such a gentleman, he let me know the specials for to the day so I ordered the braised short ribs, it was really good. I definitely will be back.
