We had the oysters, goat cheese dip, the special of the day, and the filet mignon. The oysters were delicious and the goat cheese dip was fantastic though we could have used more crackers for it. The special was amazing and the filet was perfectly cooked and tasty. The only issue I can complain about is the "service fee" that was added to the bill that we did not expect. The bill explained: "As the cost of doing business in Boston has increased dramatically in the past couple of years, our ability to increase the wages of our kitchen staff has been limited. A 3% kitchen appreciation fee helps us offset that. If you would like to have this fee removed from your check, please let us know." I did not have it removed but thinking about it later, I may have them remove it in the future. We all have experienced increased costs, and I'm not sure the service fee added is the way to offset those costs as a restaurant. I might rather see them raise the price of certain meals or sides by $1 which would make it more clear what the final cost of the meal is. For me, it was not about the actual money (which was only about $5), more about the unexpected add-on of the fee. Anyhow, we will be back to enjoy the delicious food and lovely atmosphere despite the added fee.More infoAmelia'sPrice: Expensive• Italian• Stoughton•4.7

Everything we had was the best and our server, Frank, was the perfect old-time, experienced waiter. There are so many items we want to try. Their list of specials makes choosing difficult. The swordfish and the mussels were the best we ever had.More infoLuciano'sPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Wrentham•4.8
- LLindaGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoI had dinner with a colleague at the One Bistro in Norwood on a Tuesday night. This was my second visit to One Bistro. I had a great experience the first time so I was eager to visit again. We arrived for our 6:15 reservation, which I made with ease through the Opentable link on the One Bistro's website, and were promptly greeted and led to our table. We were staying at the hotel for a company training and we had a large, scrumptious lunch and fresh baked snacks there earlier in the day. For this reason we decided to skip appetizers. Our server Arcely, greeted us warmly, and then brought over the bread basket- with warm rolls and a delightful cranberry bread. We both ordered a glass of wine. For an entree, I followed my knowledgeable colleague's lead and ordered the Steak Frites- with a modification- we opted for the mashed potatoes instead of the Truffle Parmesan Fries. Make no mistake, I enjoy Truffle Fries but it was a cold night and the substitution of mashed potatoes sounded like an excellent idea. Our server graciously made this modification for us. From the moment I sank my teeth into the perfectly cooked steak tips, I knew this was a dining experience I'd savor. The meat was incredibly tender, seasoned well, and cooked to absolute perfection. The mashed potatoes were a great choice, they were creamy, buttery, and when combined on the fork with a bite of Steak, Pan Jus and Bleu Cheese crumbles, made for a delicious combination. I ate every bite on my plate, which was tough as it was a large portion, but somehow I managed! For dessert I had the Pumpkin Praline Bread Pudding- this was the perfect ending. The custard was moist and the topping was buttery, and rich. I love pecans so this whole combination worked for me. The creaminess of the vanilla Gelato brought it all together I somehow managed to eat more than half of my dessert. Overall, we had excellent service, a great atmosphere and a delicious meal. My only point of contention is that I live oMore infoOne BistroPrice: Moderate• Continental• Norwood•4.7
