Bistro Casanova is smooth, elegant, exquisite and fun. A tropical landscaping refreshes the air surrounding the outside al fresco tables. Bistro Casanova offers Mediterranean fare, its roots coming from the Cinque Terre in Italy where the owner comes from. Its menu reaches some classic of the European cuisine: Paella for two, Cioppino, Focaccias, Grigliata plates of grilled meat or fish large enough to share, prime cuts of steaks are between the favorites, next to an excellent selection of pastas and fresh salads. Locally grown ingredients are used extensively, as well as the freshest fish from Maui's ocean. Bistro Casanova is a favorite for Happy Hour relaxation, watered by specialty martinis and carafes of mojito and margaritas.Tapas (available after 4pm) can be a tasty complement to your drinks, an opening line for your dinner, or dinner itself.     Our server, Edward, as always, provided us with excellent service. He is both extremely caring and professional. He greeted us and proceeded with the daily special as he acknowledged that we are familiar with the menu and he personally served us on other occasions. We ordered the usual angel hair pasta and it was phenomenal with just the right balance of pine nuts, garlic, tomatoes, spinach and Parmesan cheese. The quality serving remained hot throughout lunch. This is a perfect if you seeking a light, satisfying meal.
