- KKristinVIPKansas City / Kansas •3 reviews5.0Dined todayThe only part that wasn't great was being seated at one of the two tables directly across from the entrance on a very cold night. Everything was perfect other than that 1 small thing.More infoAlla VitaPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Italian• West Loop•4.8

If you’re looking for an aesthetic atmosphere with great food/drink presentations, chemistry would be the place.More infoChemistryPrice: Expensive• American• Hyde Park•4.5
- JJaneVIPChicago / Illinois •7 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe went here after getting married at city hall and the staff made this such a wonderful experience! They put flowers at our table and wrote us a handwritten card with complimentary Prosecco. Great service and food, and they were accommodating to our party of 12. Would recommend to anyone!More infoRoanokePrice: Moderate• American• Downtown / Loop•4.4
- TTerriChicago / Illinois •14 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoTook hubby here for his birthday. This was our second time visiting. The food was just as we remembered, if not even better! We started off with the gumbo, which was hearty in itself. My husband had the Short ribs, which were tender and flavorful. I had the blackened catfish, which was flaky, seasoned well, and melted in my mouth. We also ordered as sides: collard greens, mac n cheese, and cornbread. OMG, I could've lived off the cornbread alone! Greens were cooked to perfection, and mac n cheese was creamy but not overly cheesy. Needless to say, our eyes were bigger than our stomachs, and we had a lot of leftovers. The service was top-notch, and it was a great experience overall. It is a small space, so be prepared to maybe sit a little close to other patrons. It was cool for us, great conversation. We will definitely be back, try something else, and remember those sides are enough to 2👍🏾More infoVirtuePrice: Expensive• Southern• Hyde Park•4.9
- RRyanSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoI took my mom for a Valentine's Day lunch. We went around 3 PM, and even though my reservation was at 3:30 PM the staff were nice enough to let me in. Granted it was a low volume of people eating at the time. We were sat near the windows which added to the ambience of our visit. The music made it feel like we were in an old fancy jazz club. I had the French onion soup and the chicken sandwich while my mom had the Walnut turkey club sandwich. Both sandwiches came with well seasoned fries. The food was delicious and our waitress, Annette, was very attentive and sweet. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely go again. I would highly recommend the Walnut Room.More infoThe Walnut Room - ChicagoPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown / Loop•4.6
